The 2019 Australasian Association of Philosophy Conference will be hosted by the University of Wollongong hosting philosophers from around the world with an outstanding line-up of keynote speakers.

The School of Philosophy is pleased to be heavily involved in the event with a large number of students and staff attending the event including Academics Kim Sterelny, Fiona Jenkins, Christian Barry and Alan Hajek; the School’s postdoctoral fellows Renee Bolinger, Justin D’Ambrosio and Ronald Planer; current Academic Visitors Julia Haas and Benjamin Henke; and graduate students Bruno Ippedico, Chris Lernpass, Donald Nordblom, Ross Pain, Stephen Mann, Oliver Rawle, Timothy Williamson and Sang Long Yeo.

The conference is designed to give professional philosophers and philosophy postgraduate students the opportunity to present and discuss papers in all areas of philosophy. Each year it attracts around 300 philosophers worldwide.

The conference starts on the 7 July and lasts until the 11 July.
